So beautiful!
That is what I call creativity. everyone was after color and you took off at a tangent into the relm of black and white!! - darkened the sky with a polarizer ( incidently using the polarizer on a wide angle lense has darkened only the overhead portion of the sky, leaving the sky near the horizon, illuminated, which, in my view is helping the shot).
Lesson - Never give up on a situation
I agree with Anurag - you made the best of the situation. Many of us (myself included) have become enamored with color. Nice work.
superb mono, congrats on POTD
Congratulations on POTD. I love mono work myself, and this shot is a great example of all the reasons why.
very nice photo! congrats
The shapes of the rock remind me of a gnarled, old elephant.
Looking at the negative space of the hole looks like a head on shot of an elephant. How fun to see how everyone sees things wonderfully different.
Love the angle - very well done!
A good shot. I visited Arches np in May this year and I loved it. By far the most photogenic park in the Southwest, imo. I like the sky a lot.
