I personally do not understand why anyone can see anything gross about this image. There was a similar sort o f reaction to a photograph on earthshots in September. That is a rare and a and superb image of a hyena with its kill. Come on guys this earth has much diversity and I believe it is the role of a photographer to record not only the nice things but real life also. Todays image is very interesting and technically excellent. It may along with the hyena shot never make the cover of a chocolate box but has given us an insight into something a little bit diff erent.WELL DONE WILL.

Nice image looks as if it would make a real plateful with some chips and a couple of slices of bread, and of course a really nice mug of tea

First time I’m seeing red meat of fish. Thats probably because Tuna is a long distance swimmer an needs to have lot of Myoglobin in its muscles. Any comments Thomas Vingaud?
