October 3rd, 2007 at 5:39 pmThanks for all the nice comments. I didn’t expect to get this image shown on the site, but uploaded it anyway. The shot was taken at Bembridge harbour on the Isle of Wight. This particular stretch of land is on the opposite side of the causeway that creates the harbour and was reclaimed from the sea back in the mid 19th century. What you see is the silt left behind when the water dries up in the summer months. Thanks again.
