WOW. An excellent shot. I have tried many times to photograph these beautiful creatures. They are so difficult as they will not stay still. Technically and aesthetically this is perfection.

Are these colors as you saw or have you pumped them up a bit in Photoshop. To me the tree trunk looks particularly surreal.

thanks for the comments,
actually the colours are not photoshopped the warm colour of the autumn sun (orange) and a singh ray polorising filter did the work for me helped on with a custom white balance in camera raw to jpeg in capture nx and photoshop was used to resize for the web
