Golden Gate at Night

My flight back to Europe left at 6:30am, so I figured that I might as well not sleep at all, and instead take some long exposure shots at Marin Headlands. This one was taken at 2:12am. I'm glad I didn't sleep that night.

Weird. The Golden Gate Bridge always looked red to me in any pictures I’ve seen of it. This picture shows it is actually gold.

The gold is because of the colour cast caused by the artificial lights!!!!!
Great Shot chris, I specially love how the timed exposure has converted the water below into perfectly smooth mirror like surface and one can vividly see even the reflection of the suspension cables. The combination of the gold and the blue black water/sky is gorgeous.
