Nature’s brushstrokes - and you have captured them perfectly! Love the color and DOF!
Yay! I love this flower! Great shot!!!:)
Lovely
I do a lot of flower photography myself, this one’s a good one. Try printing a little poem over the left hand side of the picture and hanging it on the wall. Should look good.
its a cool & colourfull flower
I almost could smell it!
great shot
That shot says alot about you .it’s lovely .
you have an eye .
Soft radiance after all that sharpening!? Good composition
Great image!
Anurag, I’m not sure what you mean by your comment, do you think it is over-sharpened? This file was actually minimally scharpened (plus what flickr does to my images). The only real portion of the image that is tack sharp is the central portion of the flower, and softens as you move out, hence the name. Thanks for the comments.

The comment has more to do with the title. Nothing to do with the merits of the image. Its a lovely image. What I ment was that “soft radiance” invokes imagery of soft focus, dreamy glowing quality of light. here we have a tack sharp, high contrast image where the petals appear crisp rather than evoking the tender soft velvety feel. It is not at all over sharpened, Its optimally sharpened. What I mean is that the title doesnt seem to go well with the image. I hope I have got my point of view accross. Otherwise the image is just perfect.
By the way I too am a doctor an ENT surgeon.

What I mean By really soft flower closeups you can visit Mark Johnson’s website at http://www.msjphotography.com
The title should be Bold Softness
