Great tonal variation, I like the many s curves forming in the snow which help the eye to move deeper into the image. On The whole though the image does seem a bit busy and cluttered.

Romania must be a lovely country; a well composed shot.

In USA, we have had full color film for almost 50 years.

Good for you ! This photo has been taken as a color one and then was made b&w by post-processing in Photoshop.

Yeah, USA had the equipment, but not the talent. Nothing wrong with black & white Rushdie.

I love the shadows cast onto the snowy dunes, it gives a wonderful effect when shot in black and white.

Using B&W was a good choice. It makes it less fancy and so even nicer. If you understand what I mean… Keep it up!

A stellar b/w image! not cluttered at all! I think it is a beautiful and extrordinary monotone image! Good choice for b/w, In my opinion, color would not have had the same brilliant impact! The depth in this is truly excellent…and the shadows are so wonderful! Beautiful light!
[Rushdie, I hope that was your attempt at humor...]
