One of the most important and impressive sacred places in the aboriginal culture.

I was born in Oviedo (Spain), in 1971. I studied Biology at the Oviedo University. I worked during many years in brown bears (Ursus arctos), wolf (Canis lupus signatus) and red fox (Vulpes vulpes) research projects.
Now I’m freelance wildlife photographer since 1994, especialized in wildlife and landscapes, but also travel and other reports.

    First of all, thank you for your comments.

    If you visit Ayers Rock at day light you can see that the colour of the rock is vivid orange. This photo was taken at sunset, when the colour of the Uluru turn into bright red.

    All my digital images has been taken in RAW format and digitally handled in Adobe Photoshop, but not artificially altered.

    Wow, this looks almost artificial. “Mission to Mars” anyone? This rock has the same proportions as the one that was hiding the FACE. Very good shot.

    We were there when it was raining and waterfalls were falling off the rock. What a difference.

    I remember i had a similar shot at the Ayers Rock a few years ago ( with my Nikon Pronea S APS , but the color was not as nice, hope i could go back and do the same with my 30D now! )
    This is a great shot , really like the color and the contrast with the sky.
