After The Snowfall

by John Harrison

As I rounded the corner near Blakey Ridge I saw this wonderful scene, stopped the car and photographed what I saw. The colours of nature are a wonderful thing.

The blue sky is beautiful and the light from the sun is perfect! What a stunning scene!

It is a nice shot but the red trees in the background are a little distracting, might have been a bit better lower down.

The cool shadows on the snow create the same colour scheme of the sky, which really works very well. And the tree is really very unusual indeed. A very good scene, nicely captured.

What a wonderful cool picture. It hits the spot in this heat wave in the American Midwest. It is just beautiful.I really love the sky/clouds. Thanks for sharing with us and God bless you.

Wild and wonderful, exactly as nature prepared and left it. Then you came along and preserved it with a superb eye and impeccable technical ability. Thank you for this.
