July 24th, 2007 at 7:43 amVery good shot John.. Pl clarify a few points. You said it is after dark. If so then what is the shutter and ISO and the aperture, because as can be seen from the shot, the shutter cannot be very slow, and what is in the background? moonlight?

Thanks for the comments about this image it’s a bit of an honour to win the Photo of the day competition, thanks againHi Anurag
The sun has just sunk below the hill where the stag is standing but is reflecting enough light to give the sky a nice glow and maintain a fast enough shutter speed 1/250sec at F5.6 with an iso of 800 the lens was a Nikon 300mm F4 so I suppose it should be as darkness descends
