Wow! this photo is very strange and surreal, but the dead vlei goes great against the sand dunes and the blue sky. The lighting is superb. Great photo. Well done!

Deadvlei is one of Namibias biggest attractions.In peak tourist season their are may tourist that walk around in your view if one wants to take a picture.The trees standing here are about 900 years old (carbon tested) you can go to my website to see some more pictures or http://www.namibianpostcards.com

It’s a very nice photo obviously. Love the colors. I do think the horizon is slightly tilted and the tree is too centered imo.

Being a lover of many of the arts and a recent discoverer of Earthshots, I immediately ‘saw’ dancers on a stage of sand with a simply coloured backdrop.
This is a great website for us who often dream of creating this kind of stuff.
