Rainbow Fall
by Buck Forester
This is an early morning shot of Rainbow Fall in Devil's Postpile National Monument as the first rays of light shoot over the waterfall. I backpacked in and spent the night near the waterfall so I could be there first thing in the morning. It was about a 4 second exposure.
Equipment: Canon Elan 7; Canon 17-40mm lens; Fuji Velvia 50 film; 81B warming filter.

I love the rays of light in this photo. And I like the fact that I am not the ONLY person still using film. Is anyone else out there still taking serious photos with film? I’d love to hear from you.
