Whats with that landmass on the extreme left about middle distance that seems to be overlapping the large central mass? Is the overlap photoshopped or something?

Lake Powell is Glen Canyon National Recreation Area on the Colorado River. Most of the reservoir is in Utah, the damn dam is just across the border in Arizona. Red rock country has a lot of color variation and convolutions–that’s probably what some of you are seeing.
Lovely photo, despite the presence of the bathtub ring and the reservoir…..my wouldn’t it be wonderful the way God meant it to be???
