Have you ever seen a landscape that made you expect to see a donosaur wandering past? The Bromo Tengger National Park in Java, Indonesia is just such a place.

After a long and rewarding career as a geologist with a major oil company, I retired and moved to Washington State 3 years ago. Living and working abroad allowed me to travel extensively - fueling my passion for photography. I now live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and am able able to pursue my photographic interests on a full time basis.

Wow! That shot really does seem prehistoric. I never imagined such a place existed on our planet. I would love to be there to see what it is like. The volcano is majestic as well as the sky and landscape. Superb photo. Well done!
