   Hi Dean,
   Very nice shot - My family and I also reside in the UAE, and we miss the Bush of SA the most, our bush travels(Safari)has taken us to Namibia- Etosha, Botswana- Okavango, and Mozambique, Zimbabwe etc….

   We are going to SA for a short break , and will visit Jay-dee camp in the Timbavati area - cannot wait!!

   I also receive monthly updates from Kings Camp(Timbavati)area regularly.

   i could not agree with you more, photographing the amimals in thier own habitat–this is a majestic image…thank you for pursuit of these animals through images in thier own places.

   Dean, the line of birds (egrets?) next to the huge elephant is an amazing sight. What a beautiful portrait of your corner of the world!

   What a shot! You got an elephant and the tallest mountain in the bg. Excellent! Love the colors and sharpness. The only thing I would have done was cloning out the flying bird with the motionblurred wings and the other elephants (?) and the oof bird, just behind the main elephant. Why? Just to have less distracting objects so the eye of the viewer gets instantly drawn to the subjects that really matter.
