Lovely image–I love your use of foreground elements (the log). Funny thing–in ’86 I worked for the USFS and used to hike up there frequently, and toward the end of the year we dismantled this lookout because people were stealing stuff. I see now that it’s available for overnight renting!

Charlene, I have not stayed at the Lookout yet, I did plan to though…it doesn’t help that the road to there is washed out completely. I am sure you know the beautiful Index -Galena Road.
