Festival of Colors

This picture was taken on the colorful festival of Holi. The festival of Holi is celebrated on the day after the full moon in early March every year. It is also called the Festival of Colours. On this day people Throw colors at each other. This festival occurs at the onset of spring. It is India's most celebrated festival along with Diwali.

I’ve always been someone who got attracted towards nature’s beauty…
and ever since imaging got digital I wanted to get a digital camera…
But for some reason or the other I couldn’t get one untill May last year (2005),
when I got my first Camera 350D…
Before that I didn’t even know about “Aperture†though I knew that there is something
called “Shutter Speedâ€â€¦
Recently I won Digital Camera Magazine’s “Photographer of the Year†Competition…
Now, Me and My Camera are inseparable and with each passing day world is getting more Beautiful…

It is the DOF which is making this shot out of the ordinary and, of course the great lense. I would have liked the subject to be centered, the protuding tongue adds that touch of naughtiness
