I don’t know if they realize they are stars, but I do believe that in the enormity of the sea, they are very happy to have found another like themselves. The story, composition, and beauty of this image is stunning!

Pretty colours in the ‘sea stars’, but the fact they were placed on the rocks doesn’t make them look natural. Sea stars ‘cling’, and don’t have their arms suspended. If you had waited several minutes they would have dropped and wrapped around the rock for a more natural shot.
