I used to watch these birds in Ukraine, in small Samara river, tributary of Dnieper. When they sit in the trees over the river you can hardly notice them as their brests are brown as the tree's cortex. (They turn to you by their brests). In profile, like in this picture they are better seen. And they are extremely bright blue when flying over the water! Great photo, the background is properly done.
