Cub and Mum
by Juan Iglesias
Female of Cape fur seal and its cub. Cape Cross has the best known breeding colony of Cape fur seals along the Namib coast. This appealing species isn't a true seal at all, but an eared seal, which is actually a species of sea lion.
Equipment: Canon EOS 1D, Canon EF 70-200 f:2.8 L USM

You have captured a magic moment – the mother seal is obviously enjoying the closeness of her cub. A beautiful family picture. Thank you.

Reminds me of my mother’s love, giving me littlwe toys when I was young, having no care in the world, It makes me quite tearful. Well done!
