I'm based in the center of England and have been taking photos 'properly' for about one year. Currently use a Canon 20D SLR, most of the pics on my web site were taken with this camera, although a few older ones were taken with a Olympus compact.

Dave, I love the perspective, and the contrast between the small plane in the distance and the gigantic smokestacks. Very nice, with the peachy dusk as a backdrop.

I like the sky and clouds with the smoke rising from the chimneys, as well as the texture and the colours. Great timing with the plane. Great photo. Well done!

Actually, that is only steam. You can check with an environmental engineer.
