The King

Detail of the face of a lion (Panthera leo). It is the dominant male of a pride of eleven lions located on Aroe Waterhole. Etosha National Park (Namibia).

I was born in Oviedo (Spain), in 1971. I studied Biology at the Oviedo University. I worked during many years in brown bears (Ursus arctos), wolf (Canis lupus signatus) and red fox (Vulpes vulpes) research projects.
Now I'm freelance wildlife photographer since 1994, especialized in wildlife and landscapes, but also travel and other reports.

Nicely managed Exposure. Highlights were not burnt out and you can pick up detail of the lions face. Lions have great photopresence
