The colors are really great, but I think you should have tried to get the whole bend in the frame. I was there last month and I know you need a very wide angle to fit the whole bend in. I used 17mm and a body with a 1.6 cropfactor and just stitched three photos together. It worked wonders!

Very well taken shot. If there were constraints of wide angle glass then I would say cropping from below and including some sky was the right thing to do.
I love the play of blue green with the orange.
