The Big One

This one is the dominant male of a bear group located in Martinselkonen Wilds Center (Finland). This place is near the Russian border. Brown bears enter in Finland fron Russia running away from the hunters.

I was born in Oviedo (Spain), in 1971. I studied Biology at the Oviedo University. I worked during many years in brown bears (Ursus arctos), wolf (Canis lupus signatus) and red fox (Vulpes vulpes) research projects.
Now I'm freelance wildlife photographer since 1994, specialising in wildlife and landscapes, but also travel and other reports.
