Ok you found me… now what?

We spotted this little fella about half way though our 8km trek around the rim of Kings Canyon. They blend into their environment really well so I think we must have been literally right on top of him before he made a dash for it.
Luckily we spotted him and I decided to follow and get closer. Initially every time I got close he would bolt, but after playing cat and mouse he finally let me take a few snaps…

Photography has quickly become my creative outlet. It is very much a “work in progress” learning experience – one that I am enjoying very much.
As way of background, I am a Czech born Australian. My parents decided to escape the old Czechoslovak regime back in 1980 after many years of “waiting for things to get better”.
I am lucky enough to have a beautiful wife and two kids, who, for most part are are great volunteers in daddys quest to capture the moment. My weapon of choice is a Nikon D70 with a bunch of Nikkor lenses.
